I thought I was almost there, but this had a feel-good element toward the end. So many of those scenes are visions of my childhood.

While driving up the NJTP on Sunday, I was amazed at the piles of marsh grass and reeds accumulated on the median in some of the lower-lying spots in the Linden vicinity. In some respects, we were surprised that the football game was played that day. Any doubts were erased once we got to the tailgate; people had all sorts of stories about power outages and hardships, but not one person I spoke with had any regrets regarding leaving their powerless house or flooded backyard. It was an afternoon break from what had been consuming them for the past several days.
