You're a sailor, not a power boater. Shovel that snow! Consider it a work out. With lawn mowers in summer, leaf blowers in fall, snow blowers in winter, there is hardly a moment's peace in suburbia from the din of small engines.
BeachComber: Agreed. I am a sailor and I appreciate quiet. But man, the bones are getting old, and after shoveling, pushing and raking for a good many years, any gas-powered help is fully utilized.
