  4. And then there's the expressive and oft-used NYC adverb, fugetaboutit [BKLN,QNS,BRX < english, alt. of "not happening"], as in "If you think you can park here, FUGETABOUTIT!"

  6. I aged a little bit more every time I heard "nucular". And it was never subtle; always standing out like a soar thum.

    Did you ever see the sign on the BQE upon leaving Brooklyn? "You are now leaving the borough of Brooklyn, NY. Fuhgeddaboutit!"

  7. Ted B. taught this old girl from Michigan the popular NJ word: Gi-Huge-ic (spelling unknown). I've been told it means really big!
