For at the very least one of my two readers:
This is like seared foie gras on top of a diver scallop,
garnished with sea urchin and white truffles.
I think they could've had Jimmy's amplifier a bit louder though.
Shut up Davey. Can I borrow your lighter Dude?

ReplyDelete"talk to me Jimmy! talk to me!"
ReplyDeleteoh. shut. up.
ReplyDelete(ps - got the rest of the 'cue review up!)
Someone like Jimmy Page deserved to have more VOLUME on his riff. Just saying.

DeleteHe needs the Fender Amp that Nigel Tuffnels plays through...the one with the Volume knob that goes to 11.
ReplyDeleteAmps in... latin version
ReplyDeleteHey, did you catch Paul Simon last night? Your cousin-in-law melts when she hears vintage Devadip Carlos.
DeleteUnfortunately not! Tickets were sold out in the first couple of days while I was traveling on business. Can't figure out why my post on Central Park didn't appear on the blog??
DeleteMojo,
DeleteYou know Senior Santana now play's a Paul Reed Smith, which is a guitar crafted on Eastern Shore of MD. Sort of home town favorite to us Mid, Atlantic folks, who have the Beau-Coup bucks that could afford such a guitar, let alone play one......
Oh, and that is not me in both cases
DeleteThere you go, Doug... so modest!

ReplyDeleteToo cool. Saw Aerosmith in the late 70's; awesome.
ReplyDeleteDarryl and Ruth :)
ps - My only experience with Foie Gras was last year during the last 3-day leg of our paddle around Long Island. The guy I call "The Paddling Chef" works for D'artagnan and we have to have been the best-fed casual expedition in the history of paddling. Steaks, sausages, heritage pork, lobster lobster lobster, but I think he outdid all other efforts this year when he grilled filet mignon and topped it with foie gras. Holy cow/goose combo.
ReplyDeleteNever saw Aerosmith in concert, though.
