Thanks, Tillerman, for the photo.
I am a worm, sir. A wiggly worm.
In my most vivid memories, I may have achieved
half that form at best, and remembered it to this
day as the greatest accomplishment of my life.
This girl rocks.

I just wish I had a picture of me sailing a Laser looking like that. Including that much hair!
ReplyDeleteAm I seeing this right? Does she actually only have one foot under the hiking strap? This is hard core!
ReplyDeleteAnd the worst part is she makes it look so easy and natural - no sign of strain or concern with abs and thighs screaming for mercy, just frolicking in the spray - and I don't want to look too hard at the photo because I might discover she has neither foot under the hiking strap.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely at least the right foot, KR and TM.
DeleteAnd something else I just noticed. Isn't she holding the tiller extension in her left (i.e. front) hand?
ReplyDeleteAnd is her left boot partly unlaced?
And isn't that an iPhone she's got in her right hand?
ReplyDeleteOMG, she's TEXTING while going for Olympic gold!
Talk about panache!
Kids today! So clever at multi-tasking! How do they do it?
ReplyDeleteHow do you guys know that she didn't fall off the boat a second after the picture was taken?
ReplyDeleteBecause

DeleteWell.... any good question bears repeating.
