Roger Prichard, owner and skipper of Gwylan, a lovely
wooden Herreshoff ketch from Riverton, NJ, snapped
this photo of Spartina while Huck and I sailed with Steve
up and down, then back and forth, on Chester River, just off
the piers of Chestertown. We had a perspective of the
Downrigging Fleet that few other visitors were lucky to have.

Lucky indeed! And a fine day it was to exercise that luck.

ReplyDeleteBut the second paragraph is fantastic. Steve shot you while you were sailing with Steve on Roger's boat! How ddid he manage that? Is it a trick with mirrors? Is this the first selfie of someone on two boats at once?
