In response to the previous annoying post regarding the political "hot potato" of Cinco de Mayo, it was my feeble attempt to get back on track. I'll also try not to post anything in need of explanation!
If you never post anything in need of an explanation, chances are you'll never get much of a discussion! That's my experience, anyway.
I missed 'hot potato' completely.I'm not living in cool, collected and mellow New Jersey. I'm living in your polar opposite, where everything is polarized. Any innocuous exchange on any subject is tinged with more that hot potatoes. Last night's dinner saw me marooned for three hours with a bunch of thinly-veneered and circumspect Republicans. If they didn't know who I was, I knew who they were. Early on, I resolved not to take the bait on any politically tangential phrase. Immigration reform was broached, but not explored. The real point is that even though I might agree on 90% of what this super-madeup, overly-perfumed chick had to say on immigration, I'm predisposed against conceding so much as a single inch. Concessions are misunderstood in polarized America. Arizona is just too close to California.
New Jersey, Sailing, Food, Family, and anything I think is interesting at the time make up the contents of this blog. Bear with me, I'm still learning.
I don't get the image??? This is a flaming spud? Or what?
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what this post is about.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to bed now.

Pizza and hubcaps don't go together. You'll get a tummy ache.
ReplyDeleteI'd suggest something distilled from amber waves of grain.
