Hakeem Nicks was born with Stick-um on his hands
Larry Fitzgerald gives $1000 to charity for every pass he catches.
In keeping with being charity-minded, the Jints should give 1k for
every pass defended against Fitz. I'm thinking they can swing it.
I'm loving #71 Dave Tollefson. Big, white defensive
linemen are hard to come by these days.
Victor, next time you want to give up the ball, make sure you hear
the whistle first. Phew! Good job boys, on not giving up and
coming home with a road win. We'll see you in two weeks
against Buffalo. K-9 if you want to tailgate; we'll have plenty.
I leave for the Blue Ridge Parkway on Wed, then back home only to head to the Keys in the 15th.
ReplyDeleteHope we ca get together one afternoon to have lunch and pick up the Spinaker Pole. By the way, how did it work out for you?
I bet you'll take it, you got a gift on the Cruz call. Not that anybody but NFL officials even new such a rule existed. After seeing that play 17 times on ESPN Cruz definitely thought he was touched and that is the reason he left the ball on the field (he had no intention of "giving himself up!). No disrespect to the G-Men but what a dumb rule. Well, at least you look better than my Steelers, I have a feeling I am in for a long season.
ReplyDeleteSandscraper, didn't need the whisker pole but was happy to have it at the ready.
ReplyDeleteDoug, no doubt he thought he was touched. And yes, it seemed the rule just materialized right there at that moment for Giants fans. There were questionable calls for both sides. Sounds like a football game to me.
Why is it so important to find big white defensive linemen?
ReplyDeleteIt's not, I suppose. I just have a soft spot for big white guys named Dave.
ReplyDeleteI Googled "Big white guys named Dave" and this is what got in return; http://www.medindia.net/news/British-Lasses-Think-Big-Of-The-Name-Dave-32273-1.htm
ReplyDeleteThank God that the name Doug was not mentioned, I will choose anonymity in such discussions, as a gentleman of course.

Also, Cruz was not touched he just thought he was and we could argue this forever and THAT IS WHATS GREAT ABOUT FOOTBALL!!!. Love you brother and have a good night.

Here's my defensive lineman of choice.
ReplyDeleteMust have been a no-pads practice day. Still, they usually wear helmets......
ReplyDeleteThey don't because this is real football, not handball. They do wear shin guards. This German import for Arsenal is 6'6" (I left that out).
