Better Late Than Never

Thanks to MillieMac for the photo.
It's nice to get a shot from somewhere other
than the cockpit.  First time in a month that
man and wife sailed together today.

Jersey tomatoes and fresh mootz with backdoor chives and basil.

Roasted New Egypt beetroot about to be sliced and marinated.

Yes, that's a bay leaf.  Nothing is simple in my kitchen.
The white corn is coming tomorrow.  I'll be first in line.

Penang curry and coconut chicken, grilled over hickory.
I got home tired and sweaty, spent an hour and a
half getting dinner together, and it finally felt like summer was here.

  1. Arrr,

With your fine fare and that handsome vessel we should have no problem getting a right proper crew. With an able crew, we can attack Tillermans Laser Beam craft. I know Tillerman has a treasure chest full of provocative photographs of "Pippa". Come me hardy's who with us!

All foolishness aside, You have a great looking boat, but if you ever need a crew to broadside Tillerman, please let me know.

    1. If that's Bay Rhumb in a breeze, you're definitely entitled to call mast abeam on anyone, Tillerman included!

  2. Tillerman,

I was pulling for Murray, I really was. I have no issue with Federer, but my heart was with Murray, a Murray victory would have been awesome! Then again, its just Tennis and life will go on and we all will...whoops got to go, Sponge Bob Square Pants is on, talk to you later...

    2. We all pull for Murray. Still. We believe the Arc of the Universe pulls toward justice.

    3. You must be talking about some sporting event I guess, but the only sport I follow with any enthusiasm as a spectator is baseball. Have I mentioned that my New York Yankees have the best record in baseball and the largest divisional lead in baseball going into the All Star Break?

  3. Sailing with your sweety and savory dinner ashore - You've got it made, Baydog. Beautiful pic of Bay Rhumb.

  4. Baydog: Your killing me man! I've had some good Jersey tomato sandwiches (white bread slathered with mayo, each hunk of bread covered by a single slice from a big honkin' tomato; so drippy you gotta eat 'em over the sink) but no corn yet!
