Toasted bread, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, chives. So far so good. There are three proteins contained in the ring mold. One by land, and two by sea. Unconventional combination, but look who made it. These proteins have been featured on this site before. Last hint: the red sauce is not tomato sauce, but made from another red vegetable. This represents a true mish-mash of available leftovers from my refrigerator.
Since you're emphasizing people, I'm guessing it's got some of that newfangled soylent green in it and... shoes? Shoe leather? Sawn off stiletto heels?
I know of the top dead guy and his associated claim to fame, but not the second chap nor the four below that are oblivious to their pending culinary fate.
Based on the photo clues: 1. Franks. Ball park Franks. 2. Jacques Tacos (not sure how you got a Detroit mobile food product in your neck of the woods...) 3. Leftover chicken wings from Hooters. 4. Moo shu pork
New Jersey, Sailing, Food, Family, and anything I think is interesting at the time make up the contents of this blog. Bear with me, I'm still learning.
Bread
ReplyDeleteDitto. Plus olives, tomatoes, tomato sauce, white cheese, cheese sauce, white beans, chives, and cucumbers.
DeleteMitch is such an over-achiever.
DeleteI'm hungry. And your answer was just... so lacking, when my eyes saw so much!
DeleteAvocado?
ReplyDeletePotato salad?

ReplyDeleteYer killin' me.
DeleteSince all vegetables contain all essential amino acids (protein), who knows what you're referring to? Hopefully not dead animals. :)
ReplyDeleteAwwww, dang. I should never come by this blog when I'm working late and it's dinnertime.
ReplyDeleteI think I see leftover roast pork, some sort of fish (apparently two sorts).....salt cod? and bell pepper or red chile puree.
ReplyDeleteOkay, some new photo clues have been added...

Think outside the box, M2F! You're on the right track.
DeleteI'm changing my guess for #1 to Frank's Red Hot.
Delete"I put that sh#t on everything."
Your #1 guess is similar to my #4 picture clue. But what is Frank famous for?
Deleteokay, so:
Delete#1 chicken
#2 Coquilles Saint-Jacques (scallops?)
#3 blowfish (fugu)?
#4 Sriracha sauce
Ding ding ding! Chicken, scallops, and blowfish in a curry mayonnaise. Then a Sriracha drizzle. Pretty far out combination but it tasted great.
DeleteI'll try to keep my excitement down, as you pretty much held my hand through the whole quiz process. :-)
DeleteNot sure my German-American/midwestern stomach could handle some of your creations, to be honest...
This is even more impossible than Tillerman's quizzes...
ReplyDeleteShit, I forgot the Jersey corn in that mold.
