Signs of Spring

The marina owners actually paid someone to make this sign.

This one is probably just the owner's falt.

Ready or not...........

  1. Ah, yes Dog, leash and plastic bag. This what polite society does... My dog drops a deuce and turns around with a look that says: have at it poop boy!

    1. My Doberwoman is more considerate. She wanders off the trail, where the footing is certifiably too uncertain for this ancient bi-ped. She drops trow deep in the shadows, ice plant or tall grass. My son gives the rationale that "that's out of play"! Contrite and circumspect, I exonerate myself - at least in my own mind - by picking up the bags left by other canine owners.

    2. Out of play for sure. If there's no chance of a Bi-ped stepping in it, no harm - no foul. And isn't it funny how humans always watch the poop come out? I know I do. Always on the lookout for the occasional dingleberry making it's way back inside the house...

    3. Doc - Hoping that the missus Doberwoman, aka "ancient bi-ped", is not reading this blog, for your sake, notwithstanding your being "contrite and circumspect".

To paraphrase Baydog, be on the lookout for the inadvertent marital dingleberry.

    4. You mean Trophy Wife, Mojo? No, she's not reading this blog. And don't you mention it to her. Things are fine the way they are!

    5. Yes, ... Trophy Wife, now you're talking.

What happens at 829 South Drive, stays at 829 South Drive.

  2. Hmmmm,I was always led to believe that it was the runoff going into the aquifer, not the worry of a poopy foot being tracked into the house.

  3. I didn't know you could lease a dog! Is it like a car lease where you give it back after 3 years and get a new one?

    1. I think they only come with two ear leases.

    2. You don't always have to give them back.

      Sometimes, they roll over.

    3. Or, strangely, one might apply the pejorative reading of the common traffic sign...

In other words, as regards to leasing and pickup (sic?), yield to your quadriped.
