  2. I've meaning for some time to comment on that masthead photo. That MC Scow is a purebred performer. I regret that I missed out on my scow stage to which everyone should be entitled.

  3. Doc, That's Bob's E-scow with Mom and Dad crewing. The 'MC' signifies Metedeconk River Yacht Club. I actually had a dream of sailing on an E last night.

  4. I haven't had my scow stage yet. Maybe when I'm 80 I will move back to NJ and have a scow phase? I'm entitled.

    1. IMO, by the time you reach 73, and you haven't experienced your Scow stage yet, you should be apprised that you missed it. I'm only judging from the masthead photo above.

    2. And can you imagine, Doc, the effort those four humans exerted to offset the power of the wind on that Saturday afternoon, on that racecourse set by the committee of the Barnegat Bay Yacht Racing Association? The bar was set very high.
