Freeze Frames

These photos were taken today by my friend and sometimes crew,
Cathie.  She and her husband John visit their boatyard often
in the off-season, and always come back with great pics.  Thanks,
Cathie.  Hang in there- only a couple more months!

  1. Nice. I like the sword. Interesting shapes brought about through melting and re-freezing.

  2. The snow comes
    on little wiener dog feet.

    It sits looking
    over harbor and city
    on silent haunches,
    then takes a dump.

  6. I especially like the 3rd one up from the bottom (skinny vertical one). Incredible shape!

  7. I'm wondering why we didn't get wonderful snow and natural ice sculptures last June-July-August here, on the Central Coast, when it felt like it was cold enough?
