    A bit of serendipty here.

    Used to pass under the Strawberry Mansion Bridge on my way to school every day, but not in a rowing shell.

    The river drives were sometimes painful reminders that the city had had some style at some point in its murky past.

    If you squinted when the light was just right, and maybe held your nose, too, you could have been in Paris.
