These scows are representative of the scows that raced on Grand Lake, Colorado, where my family vacationed two weeks every summer in the 1950's. They were the prestigious boats in the Grand Lake Yacht Club, then touting itself as the world's highest yacht club. I never caught a ride on them. I was sailing then, and the racing bug was embedded in my heart, but had not yet gestated. Long story.
New Jersey, Sailing, Food, Family, and anything I think is interesting at the time make up the contents of this blog. Bear with me, I'm still learning.
