32 Years Ago

32 years ago on Labor Day, we had our first 'date'.
One of the very best days of my life.

  6. I wonder, by my troth, what thou and I
    Did, till we loved? Were we not weaned till then?
    But sucked on country pleasures, childishly?
    Or snorted we in the Seven Sleepers’ den?
    ’Twas so; but this, all pleasures fancies be.
    If ever any beauty I did see,
    Which I desired, and got, ’twas but a dream of thee.

    1. John - Nice tribute to Baydog's eternal love for Mrs. Dog.

      ... and It's true that Baydog has been known to snort when he sleeps. Or used to.

    1. Plateau kegger, sitting on a log by the bonfire and no doubt near the keg too. Lainey introduced us. T.R.I.H.

    2. I remember like it was yesterday. Leo Peckovitch was pouring the beers. Merv was telling all the girls at the party how well equipped he was, and Peck was being completely insane, in other words a day in the life at Clarion College.

      In all seriousness, and there is no way around this;

      I still find it amazing to this day that all the stars aligned themselves when you two met. You stayed together throughout the years, got married, have 2 wonderful children and it all started a at a keg party at the "Plateau" in Clarion PA.

      That was a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away but good times none the less.
      I am lucky to have met you both of you so many years ago, and lucky we are still all friends today.

      Congratulations on the anniversary of you first date. I was there…physically, but that Schlitz Malt Liquor is hard on the memory banks.
      So how did you two celebrate; Ed’s Hotdog House or Bob’s Subs
