  1. Sorry Baydog,

I got nothing for that cartoon. On a mental and social level I'm more of a Mad Magazine guy than a New Yorker guy...can't get enough of that Alfred E. Newman.

    1. Doug, our Baydog likes subtle cartoons from the New Yorker because he is a well-educated intellectual snob, disliked by Rick Santorum. Which is all the more reason why I keep coming back for inspiration and amusement to these pages.

  2. Doc, I get the feeling that Rick Santorum is not much of a Mad Magazine guy either!

  3. Hey Baydog,

Changing gears a little bit, that is great picture you got fronting the blog. I mean it is a well taken photo. Since I have a wee dram of familiarity ( to quote basic scotch...whiskey) of your family who is who in that photo?

  4. Rick Santorum believes in one man one vote. It's just that the one man with a vote is the pope.

    1. But no one is afraid of Rick. According to Geo. Will, Republicans are more afraid of Rush than they are of that Iranian guy, A-Mad-Dinner-Jacket-Dad or what ever his name is. Rush is not even running for office but he's the CIC of the GOP. That make him bigger than the Pope. Maybe.
